This is the 10th year that Oakland has been invited to participate. Four Oakland Junior Ambassador (2 boys and 2 girls) will be selected from Oakland Public Schools.

To be eligible, the student must be born between September 1,1998 and August 31, 1999.

Application deadline is December 18, 2008.

39th Annual High School Exchange

The 38th Annual Oakland-Fukuoka Youth Exchange is scheduled for July 30 - August 9, 2009 in Oakland, CA. Eight high school students will be visiting our City. Volunteer to be a host family.
